What is a Biokineticist?

A biokineticists is a medical professional trained in Biokinetics and we believe in Life Through Movement. We form part of the medical team that helps you heal and recover. Our medical profession is different from the others in the team because we use exercise as a treatment and not other forms of treatment such as surgery, medicine, dry needling, massage or joint manipulations. A biokineticist’s knowledge of your body’s response to different forms of exercise will help you transition from a stage where you received pain treatment to a stage where you feel confident enough to do those activities you have always wanted to do.

Why us?

We are very good at improving your physical health whatever the injury or diagnosis. Using exercise and movement as a treatment will benefit you in the short and long term. The biokineticist show you how and when to exercise so that you get the most benefits for your health and body. Each process of healing and the steps you need to take is explained. We tell you why you should do the exercises. Even more important we give you targets & goals, so we can track your progress during your treatment.

You will receive the exercise as a treatment, meaning we will be with you every step of the way. Adapting your exercises if you are having a tough day or progressing your treatment exercises when you show improvement. And we make sure that we pay attention to your pain, movement, heart, lungs, blood pressure, cholesterol and sugar level in your treatment sessions.

Why you?

Biokineticists work with both healthy and unhealthy people of any age. Because our aim is to assist, motivate and advise you on how to reduce the pain. And what exercises is safe to do and which ones should be avoided. Because we don’t want you to cause any or more damage.
