My Story
Practice Manager – Frans Strydom
Before joining Well Health Pro in 2024, I gained valuable experience working in various physiotherapy practices in Pretoria, Gauteng. My career in medical administration began in 2015, when I started assisting physiotherapists with small administrative tasks. Over time, I acquired a range of skills, eventually managing comprehensive patient administration. This included handling medical aid submissions, account reconciliation, and auditing. With over seven years of experience in medical administration, particularly within physiotherapy, I am well-versed in ensuring patients are informed and prepared for their visits.
In 2020, amid a challenging time for the world, I found my own personal joy. My wife and I were married on June 13th, 2020, in a small, intimate ceremony. Together, we have always enjoyed exploring new places across South Africa whenever possible.
After eight years in physiotherapy administration, my wife and I took a two-year sabbatical to travel and explore different cultures around the world. Our journey took us to incredible destinations, including Mauritius, Australia, various parts of Europe, and Tanzania. In Tanzania, I had the unique opportunity to spend time with the Masai tribe, connect with the locals of Zanzibar, and even make a lifelong friend.

Pieter Wiese13/09/2024I had injured my knee (sMCL) during sports when traveling South Africa and was in need of help to rehab the knee to continue the sport-focused trip. With Marlene Koen I found just the right expert on soft tissues in knees and could easily contact her via email. She replied super quickly and I booked an in-person appointment with her, which was very helpful and relieved me from my concerns that the injury would change the planned trip. Marlene was very kind and understanding as much as expert in figuring out what was going on. Even though I could only see her once in person due to traveling, she looked after me for several weeks with a digitally provided physio plan. Thank you so much, Marlene!
