Leané Swanepoel is the manager of a private practice at Well Health Pro. She is serious, diligent, and assertive. No problem is too big or small for her; she calmly develops a plan of action to address each issue. Leané is attentive to the feelings of others, yet she manages the private physiotherapy practice with strong leadership and organisational skills. As a manager, she communicates effectively and reassures those around her, both patients and practitioners. Leané brings a unique flair to her role and helps practitioners match each patient with the best expert available at our practice.

Unlike the old-school model of “gatekeepers” at most medical practices, Leané is constantly running around making coffee, relaying messages, and coordinating bookings, cancellations, and priority cases. In her role as administrator of this private medical practice, she truly embodies the meaning of facilitator. You’ll find her on the phone, following up on patients’ progress and arranging our international consultations from our practice based in Garsfontein, Pretoria.

My Story

Practice Manager – Leané Swanepoel

I began my journey with Well Health Pro earlier in 2025 whilst studying towards my LLB degree. My passion lies in working with people, and as a medical receptionist, I have the privilege of engaging with people daily. Whether it’s assisting with appointments, answering queries, or simply offering a warm and welcoming presence, I find great fulfillment in making each interaction as smooth and pleasant as possible.

I believe that even the smallest gestures, like a friendly smile or a few kind words, can make a meaningful difference, especially in a medical environment where patients may feel anxious or uncertain. My goal is to create a comforting and supportive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

While my long-term dream is to complete my law degree and pursue a career in the legal field, I cherish the connections I build with patients and colleagues each day. Outside of work and studies, I enjoy activities that allow me to unwind and recharge, like reading, hiking, and music

For now, I am grateful to be part of a team that prioritises patient care, and I look forward to continuing to assist with kindness, professionalism, and empathy.

From my position as manager in the practice, I don’t necessarily have details about patients’ specific conditions or treatment programs, but everything else goes through me. I play a key role in the team, coordinating schedules, managing bookings, and relaying your messages and concerns to our practitioners and our incredible physiotherapists. It’s hard work, but the reward is a sense of pride and confidence with every patient’s progress.

At our practice, we’ve always valued relationships and connecting with people. Our efficiency in communication is a testament to this. We believe that query resolution is as vital as excellent clinical practice. Our practice is founded on a strong foundation of compassion, respect, and excellence, ensuring that every patient receives the utmost care and consideration.

I am the conductor of this orchestra, guiding you to the right practitioner who’s best equipped to suit your problem. This person-centred approach is about understanding and addressing the unique needs of each patient. This creates an atmosphere of hope and possibility.
