I joined the team at Well Health Pro in 2022. I completed a Diploma in Administrative work in 1998 that started my journey in this greatly fulfilling career. The power of a mere receptionist is underestimated by many, but valued by countless more. Though a small part in the greater machine, I sincerely try to make the world a better place, one patient at a time. My duties as a receptionist is essential to facilitate clear communication between hundreds of patients and their practitioner. Making sure you are taken care of.

I’m happily married for more than 22 years and have 3 kids that I cherish. I’m a dog lover while my passion for music enables me to be creative. My artistic superpower allows me to be imaginative and original. I volunteer at a local prison, bringing music to a somber place, might just be the glimmer of hope inmates need.

The values I uphold are fairness and equality. I strive to treat all people equitably based on their merits and abilities and handle all essentially similar situations similarly and with consistency. ‘Serving’ is my calling with gratitude, humility and honesty. My position allows me to serve a each and every patient of the practice. I’ve worked in in cozy small practices and large corporate firms. My history arsenal includes working for Physiotherapist, Dietitians and Podiatrists. Each specialty has its unique challenges.

Even though I’ve been around the block – my computer skills is a sharp as a knife. I’m proficient, fast and adaptable to any software infrastructure. I’m a proud Afrikaner in every way. A wholehearted optimist, warm, loving Christian and coff-a-holic. I keep true to myself by treating others like I treat my own family. My goal is for every patient to feel truly valued and special.

My passion evolves around giving patients comfort how the process works. I have a particular soft spot for elderly patients – given the tech heavy forms and information that’s required at medical institutions, I take great care of ensuring they find the process easy and smooth – so that the admin, accounts and payment is without hassle and understandable.

In the mornings I am the friendly face that greets you, answer all your questions and makes by feel at ease before you enter your session. You can count on me to give you a delicious cup of coffee and listen to your story. Feel free to ask me if you have any concerns I need to relay to the practitioners.

When life beats us down, I firmly believe a steaming cup of coffee can make life’s challenges a bit more bearable, while you marvel at the mountains of tasks you’re about to take on.

I consider my job done when you’ve walked out of our medical center feeling important, significant and special.
