About our Team
We are a dedicated team of 11 physiotherapists, each specialising in various aspects of rehabilitation and wellness. Our successful private practice in Pretoria operates efficiently with the assistance of three capable administrative staff members. Our facility is conveniently located in a prime area next to other medical professionals, including two biokineticists, psychologists, occupational therapists, and two sonographers.
Once a month, we conduct internal training sessions. These sessions are a fantastic opportunity for you to meet and interact with our diverse network of referral specialists, which includes a range of professionals such as general practitioners, biokineticists, sonographers, neurosurgeons, orthopaedic surgeons, and many others. It’s a perfect blend of networking, learning, and good food, creating a relaxed yet productive environment for everyone involved.
Our work environment is peaceful and calm, even though behind the scenes, we operate with a high-paced and efficient system, much like an orchestra, to meet our patients’ high expectations. We strive for top-quality service and care.
As primary practitioners, we play a critical role in the initial consultation process, where most patients come to identify their problems. We assess, diagnose, and make judgment calls to prioritise and strategically execute treatment plans. Our role as therapists is essential in monitoring patients’ conditions, whether they are in a regressive or progressive state.

Mentorship
As you embark on this journey, you will be paired with a dedicated clinical supervisor for the first year, a guiding force who will help you navigate the intricacies of onboarding and training, ensuring a seamless integration into the team’s rhythm.
Throughout this process, we will closely monitor several key components critical to your professional development:
The initial onboarding on the practice’s systems and understanding the complexities of financial transactions is crucial for ensuring accurate billing and adhering to practice policies.
Time Management is essential to master the art of prioritising tasks to boost productivity and efficiency. This includes scheduling patient appointments and managing diaries effectively, while also establishing clear timelines for patient check-ins to monitor their progress.
Refining your subjective assessment while gathering insights from patients during interviews is key to guiding their treatment plans. Documenting measurable and observable data supports clinical decisions, while monitoring progress through SMART goals helps in setting specific, quantifiable objectives for patient care.
By assessing the stages of healing, we can adapt our approaches as needed. Developing diagnostic skills is crucial for accurately evaluating conditions and making informed clinical judgments based on sound reasoning. Crafting comprehensive care plans that cater to individual patient needs is equally important, as is assessing underlying issues that may hinder recovery or impact the effectiveness of treatment.
Evaluating potential outcomes allows us to predict the course of recovery more accurately. Enhancing active listening and empathetic skills will deepen your understanding of patients’ needs, while expanding our soft skills can encourage compliance and cooperation. It’s also essential to identify and address patient expectations and any barriers to treatment adherence.
Implementing effective methods for ongoing patient engagement and support is crucial, as is recognising and managing challenges that may arise during treatment. Preparing patients for a smooth transition from clinical care to independence is the final step in fostering their self-sufficiency.
With these components as our compass, your growth in this field will be both structured and transformative.
